IMCD acquires food ingredients distributor in Indonesia

Distributor IMCD Group (Rotterdam) says it has agreed to acquire Alam Subur Tirta Kencana (Jakarta), a leading food ingredients distributor in Indonesia. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition gives IMCD entry to Southeast Asia’s largest economy. IMCD will also acquire Alam Subur’s affiliate company Sapta Permata (Surabaya, Indonesia).
