Givaudan completes acquisition of cosmetic ingredients maker

Givaudan has completed the acquisition of cosmetic ingredients producer Soliance (Pomacle, France). Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but Givaudan says that Soliance would have added 25 million Swiss francs ($28 million) to Givaudanâ€™s 2013 sales on a pro forma basis. Soliance develops active ingredients derived from vegetable sources and microalgae. It has production at Pomacle and Ile Grande, France. The business will be absorbed into Givaudanâ€™s fragrance...
