GFS Expands Rare Earths

GFS Chemicals (Powell, OH) plans to expand its facility at Columbus, OH to manufacture cerium intermediates to back integrate its U.S. production operations. Cerium has been in short supply due to China’s restrictive policy on rare earth mineral exports, GFS says.
