Chemical Week Magazine :: Specialty Chemicals Frutarom Buys Two German Flavors and Fragrances Firms1:00 PM MDT | October 22, 2007 | Erri Walsh Frutarom Industries (Haifa, Israel) says it has signed an agreement to acquire flavors and fragrances producer Gewurzmuller (Stuttgart, Germany) and starter cultures maker Blessing Biotech (Stuttgart) for a combined total of $67 million. The deals will strengthen Frutarom’s savory flavors and seasonings products for meets and other processed foods, Frutarom says. They are also Frutarom’s latest in a string of deals done this year.
