Codexis sells Hungary operations

Codexis (Redwood City, CA), a developer of biocatalysts for the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries, says it has sold its subsidiary and laboratory operations at Budapest to biotechnology company Intrexon (Germantown, MD), for a purchase price of $1.5 million. The transaction closed on 13 March. No proprietary Codexis materials or intellectual property was included in the transaction, Codexis says.
