Clariant to relocate India plant

Clariant Chemicals India says it plans to sell the land at Thane, India, where the company produces masterbatches. A board meeting held earlier this month considered a proposal to relocate the masterbatches plant from Thane to another site, the company says, though the new site has yet to be determined. Clariant Chemicals India also says that two of its directors, Bansi Mehta and Diwan Arun Nanda, resigned, effective 16 July.
