Clariant Transfers Paper Chems

Clariant says it has begun production of hexasulphonated optical brightening agents (OBAs) at its Prat, Spain facility. Clariant announced in 2010 that it planned to stop producing textile and paper chemicals at its Muttenz, Switzerland facility over the course of 2011-2013, transferring textile chemicals to Asia and paper chemicals to Prat.
