Clariant R&D lab angling for Brazil offshore gas boom

Clariant’s new oil and gas catalysts R&D center in Brazil ( CW, July 1, p. 4) is part of a strategy to invest in areas with new natural resource development, the company says. “It’s about subsalt oil and gas production,” says Stefan Heuser, senior v.p. and headof the catalysts business unit.
