Biobased Rubber Additive Deal

Elevance Renewable Sciences (Bolingbrook, IL) says it has signed a collaboration deal with rubber processor Hutchinson Worldwide (Paris) to test Elevance’s biobased chemicals for use as processing additives. Work to date has demonstrated “early technical success,” Elevance says. Elevance’s technology converts triglycerides and fatty acids found in natural oils into multiple fuel and chemical streams.
