BASF Inks Raw Material Supply Deal with Epoxy Resins Producer

BASF says it has signed an intent agreement with epoxy resin manufacturer Leuna-Harze (Leuna, Germany), under which Leuna-Harze will supply BASF with resin raw materials in Europe for fiber-reinforced composites. BASF says it offers customized epoxy resin systems for fiber-reinforced composites used to manufacture rotor blades for wind turbines.
