Arkema finalizes divestiture of tin stabilizer business

Arkema says it has finalized the previously announced divestment of its tin stabilizer business to PMC Group (Mount Laurel, NJ), a producer of performance chemicals and plastics. The divestiture is part of Arkema’s plans to refocus its functional additives activities mostly on organic peroxides, the company says. “The divested business accounts for sales of about €180 million ($233 million) on 3 continents, and includes 4 production sites in US, Europe, and China,” Arkema says.
