American Vanguard, Monsanto extend herbicide marketing deal

American Vanguard (Newport Beach, CA) has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Amvac has extended its agreement with Monsanto to comarket Amvac’s postemergent corn herbicide, Impact, as part of the Roundup Ready Plus weed-management program. Impact will, under the agreement—which has been extended through August 2017—be listed as an endorsed product within the platform by the two companies as part of the Roundup agricultural herbicide group of tank-mix products.
