AkzoNobel Adds Auto and Aerospace Coatings Capacity

Capturing Growth: AkzoNobel says the investment will help it meet growing demand in China. AkzoNobel announced recently that it will invest about €60 million ($84 million) to increase the production capacity of its automotive and aerospace coatings business in China. AkzoNobel will construct a new production facility at Changzhou, China and will also build related warehousing, quality control laboratories, support facilities and offices on the new site.
