USCAP Supports New Climate Change Bill

The U.S. Climate Action Partnership (USCAP; Washington), a coalition of companies and environmental organizations that has called on the federal government to enact laws to help reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, says it supports a newly proposed GHG-reduction bill. The bill, introduced earlier this month by Senators Joseph Lieberman (I., CT) and John Warner (R., VA), is expected to be the primary climate legislation that the Senate will consider, sources say.
