Texas Fines LyondellBasell $6.5 Million for Air Violations

Texas Attorney General (AG) Greg Abbott (R.) says LyondellBasell subsidiaries Equistar Chemicals and Millennium Petrochemicals have agreed to split a $6.5 million fine to resolve an enforcement case involving unauthorized emissions of air pollutants including volatile organic compounds, nitrogen oxides, and carbon monoxide.
