The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has published an advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPR) for diacetyl, the chemical used in popcorn flavoring that has been linked to respiratory problems in some workers. The ANPR seeks input from industry, experts, and the public about addressing worker health problems posed by diacetyl.
