The rule would alter the way federal officials assess potential health hazards that chemical plants, refineries, and other industrial sites may pose to the workers. Lawmakers and other critics say the proposed rule would impose unnecessary additional steps for making workplace exposure calculations and would result in less protective worker health standards...
