Chemical Week Magazine :: Regulatory High Court Rejects Agent Orange Appeals10:33 AM MST | March 6, 2009 | KARA SISSELL The U.S. Supreme Court will not consider an appeal by petitioners in three separate Agent Orange cases. Two groups of U.S. veterans and one of Vietnamese citizens had asked the high court to reconsider rulings by a lower court that found claims against Dow Chemical, Monsanto, and other companies cannot go forward. The plaintiffs had sought to hold the companies liable for health problems allegedly caused by use of the defoliant during the Vietnam War.
