GAO Report Recommends EPA Oversight of Safety Board

The General Accounting Office (GAO; Washington) says that EPA’s inspector general (IG) should have permanent oversight of the Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB; Washington) to correct problems related to gaps in CSB’s investigative, data quality, human capital, and management capabilities.
