Chemical Week Magazine :: Regulatory EPA Reviews Safety Data on 101 Highest Volume Chemicals10:41 AM MDT | September 21, 2007 | Kara Sissell EPA has released its first set of hazard characterizations for 101 of the most commonly manufactured chemicals that summarizes testing information submitted by industry under the high production volume (HPV) chemical testing program. Industry submitted data on more than 2,000 chemicals, and EPA’s recent characterization list relates to substances that are manufactured in excess of 1 million lbs/year.
