ECPA Fights Influx of Fake Pesticides into Ukraine

The European Crop Protection Association (ECPA; Brussels) says it has joined with European and Ukranian officials to combat counterfeit pesticides in the Ukraine, in which there has been a substantial rise in suspect product from Asia, ECPA says. “There has been a marked increase in the trade of illegal and counterfeit agricultural chemicals over the past few years that are unfortunately directly linked to the growth and expansion of the chemicals industry in China,” which is likely the source of the product ending up in the Ukraine, says Rocky Rowe...
