ECHA requests testing proposals for three substances

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has called for testing proposals for three substances: bismuth trinitrate, the 2-oxiranylmethyl ester of (branched) nonanoic acid, and the reaction product of calcium oxide with crude petroleum hydrocarbon sludge. The hazard endpoint for which vertebrate testing was proposed for bismuth trinitrate is reproductive toxicity (prenatal development toxicity) and sub-chronic toxicity (90-day), oral.
