ECHA opens first public consultation under biocidal products regulation

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has opened its first public consultation under the biocidal products regulation (BPR). The consultation will be on the active substance dinotefuran as a potential candidate for substitution. Dinotefuran is proposed for use in biocidal products as insecticide, acaricide, and for products to control other arthropods.
