ECHA opens CLH consultation on chlorsulfon

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has started an open consultation on a harmonized classification and labeling (CLH) proposal for chlorsulfuron. The substance is listed under the classification, labeling, and packaging (CLP) regulation for substances and mixtures, with the classifications as aquatic acute 1 and aquatic chronic 1. The dossier submitter, Poland, proposes classification as hazardous to the aquatic environment, with addition of M-factors: acute M-factor of 1,000 and chronic M-factor of 100. The public consultation will run for 45 days...
