Dow Detects Unregistered GM Strain

EPA, FDA, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture say that Dow AgroSciences inadvertent release of an unregistered genetically modified (GM) pesticide product poses no public health, food, or feed safety concerns. Officials, who Dow notified of the release, also say the strain poses no plant, pest, or environmental concerns. The strain was found in three Herculex rootworm protection corn seed products.
