Dow Challenges IRS in R&D Tax Credit Lawsuit

Dow Chemical is appealing a U.S. tax court decision to reject the company’s claim that supplies used in certain process improvements carried out by the former Union Carbide in 1994 are eligible for R&D tax credits. Attorneys presented oral arguments March 29 at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit (New York).
