BASF Takes Europe to Court Over GM Potato

BASF says it has filed a lawsuit against the European Commission for “unjustifiably delaying” BASF’s application to cultivate its genetically modified (GM) potato in the European Union (EU). The potato, called Amflora, would be used solely in industrial applications, including the manufacture of paper and adhesives.
