Chemical Week Magazine :: Regulatory ACC Criticism Leads to Toxicologist’s Removal from EPA Panel9:23 AM MDT | March 10, 2008 | Kara Sissell EPA officials have granted a request ACC made last year seeking removal of a scientist from an agency advisory panel, according to documents posted on the Environmental Working Group’s (EWG; Washington) Web site. EPA dismissed the scientist last August from the panel, which was reviewing possible health effects of flame retardant deca brominated biphenyl ether (deca-BDE), but the dismissal was only just revealed late last month in a Los Angeles Times article.
