Sun Pharma Posts Record Profits

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (Mumbai) recorded a 135% increase in net profits, to Rs.5.13 billion ($107 million), for the second quarter ended September 30, compared with the year-ago period. Sales increased 76%, to Rs.11.8 billion. Generics sales in the U.S. rose 195%, to $122 million.
