Sanofi-Aventis Acquires Pfizer’s Insulin Facility in Germany

Sanofi-Aventis (Paris) says it has acquired one of the world’s largest insulin plants at Frankfurt, Germany, from Pfizer for €30 million. Sanofi-Aventis aims to strengthen its insulin production capacities with the acquisition. The deal includes buildings, equipment, machinery, and some existing contracts, Sanofi-Aventis says.
