Sanofi-Aventis Acquires Generics Drugmaker in Mexico

Sanofi-Aventis (Paris) says its Sanofi-Aventis Mexico (Mexico City) subsidiary has acquired generic pharmaceutical firm Laboratorios Kendrick (Mexico City), for an undisclosed sum. Sanofi-Aventis says the deal will accelerate its sales growth in emerging markets.
