Saltigo Aims to Expand in Japan

Saltigo (Langenfeld, Germany), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lanxess, says it plans to become the leading western supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in Japan. Opportunities for expansion in the $73-billion Japanese pharmaceutical market make it attractive, Saltigo says.
