Riemser Buys Rentschler Pharma

Privately owned pharmaceutical and specialty chemical company Riemser Arzneimittel (Insel Riems, Germany) has acquired Rentschler Pharma, the former pharma division of family owned Rentschler (Laupheim, Germany). Financial details were not disclosed. The acquired business will be renamed Riemser Speciality Production. Riemser says the deal will boost the size of its contract manufacturing division.
