Pronova Signs Intermediates Deal

Pronova Biopharma (Lysaker, Norway) says it has entered into an agreement with an undisclosed third-party manufacturer for the supply of pharmaceutical intermediates, which will enable Pronova to make higher volumes of active pharma ingredients (API). The additional supply of cGMP-manufactured intermediates will raise Pronova’s total annual API production volume to 1,400 m.t.-1,500 m.t., the company says. “The sourcing of high-quality intermediates will further optimize our manufacturing processes,” says Tomas Settevik, CEO of Pronova...
