Lonza and Biotech Firm Settle Legal Dispute

Lonza (Basel, Switzerland) says it has settled a legal dispute with biotechnology company Northwest Biotherapeutics (Bethesda, MD) involving Lonza’s GS Gene Expression System. All claims and counterclaims between the companies are to be dismissed, based on an agreement that Northwest Biotherapeutics will destroy the GS Gene Expression System materials in its possession, Lonza says.
