Lanxess Plans Modernization, Staff Changes in Fine Chemicals

Lanxess says it plans to invest €30 million ($39 million) to modernize the Leverkusen and Dormagen, Germany plants of the company’s Saltigo fine chemicals subsidiary, and to introduce “new work time models” at the plants. Negotiations are under way with employee representatives, Lanxess says.
