Johnson Matthey to Close Prostaglandin API Facility in Ireland

Johnson Matthey says it plans to close its prostaglandin active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) facility at Cork, Ireland with the loss of 21 jobs, due to poor demand in the European market. The company says it plans to consolidate manufacturing of prostaglandin products at its U.S. facility at Devens, MA.
