Dishman in Talks with Firms for India SEZ

Dishman Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals (Ahmedabad, India) says it is in talks with several international chemical and pharmaceutical companies to set up facilities in a previously announced 390-acre pharmaceutical and chemical special economic zone (SEZ) that Dishman is establishing at Bavla, India (CW, Sept. 15, p. 48). Dishman is also establishing an engineering SEZ at the site and says it will invest a total sum of about $125 million in the two SEZs.
