Dishman Establishes Economic Zones in India

Dishman Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals (Ahmedabad, India) says it will invest a combined sum of about $125 million in a pharmaceutical and chemical special economic zone (SEZ) that it is establishing at Bavla, India and in an engineering SEZ it is planning to establish at Bavla. Dishman says it is also building Asia’s largest facility to manufacture cancer drugs and other high-potency drugs at its existing plant at Bavla, which is separate from the SEZ’s.
