CPhI: Dow Brings Synthetic Glycerine Business Back Under its Domain

Dow told CW at the recent CPhI expo in Frankfurt that since August, it has brought back its Optim synthetic glycerine business to the main Dow Chemical group, after a period of about three years. The business is now focused mainly on pharmaceutical customers. Dow is the only synthetic glycerine manufacturer in the world, the company says.
