CMOs Expect Sales Growth This Year

Contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) say that 2006 sales are up over the previous year, and that they are confident of continued growth in 2007. Growth is taking place despite increasing competition from Asian fine chemical manufacturers and belt tightening among major pharma companies including Pfizer, executives told CW at the Informex fine and specialty chemicals exposition, held in San Francisco last week.
