Action on Counterfeit Drugs

The European Parliament held its first symposium last week to determine how to stop counterfeit pharmaceuticals from entering the European Union (EU). The European Fine Chemicals Group (EFCG) and Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients Committee (APIC), both affiliates of Cefic, presented a position paper detailing key concerns about counterfeit medicines to the parliament.
