Actavis Expands into New Markets; May Enter Biosimilars

Generic pharmaceuticals producer Actavis (Hafnarfjordur, Iceland) says it is expanding its presence in regions such as Japan, the Mideast, and South America. The company is also monitoring closely the biosimilars market and related activities within the sector.
