R&H Exits Automotive Coatings Business With Two Deals

Rohm and Haas (R&H) has agreed to sell its universal color dispersions (UCD) colorants business to NB Coatings (Lansing, IL), a unit of Nippon Paint Co. (Tokyo), for an undisclosed sum. NB Coatings, which acquired R&H’s automotive coatings business about a year ago, says it plans to sell the colorants business to pigment dispersions supplier Plasticolors (Ashtabula, OH).
