CW75 Stock Performance

The CW 75 for the week ended December 20 rose about 2.6%, outpacing broader markets including the MSCI World Index and the S&P 500, which were flat and up 1.3%, respectively. The S&P 500 rose on better-than-expected economic news in the U.S. Basic chemicals shares were flat, diversified shares rose 3.2% and specialties rose 3.01%. Albany Molecular, Chemtura and Kraton topped the leaders, reporting growth of 18.1%, 13.1% and 11.1%, respectively. Wacker Chemie, Shin-Etsu Chemical, and Clariant topped the laggards, falling 17.6%, 4.3% and 3.5%, respectively...
