Linde was required to terminate certain jv’s between Air Liquide and BOC in Asia as one of several conditions imposed by the European Commission (EC) when it approved Linde’s acquisition of BOC last year (CW, June 14, 2006, p. 10). Potier: Strong in Southeast Asia. Air Liquide says it will purchase Linde’s 50% stake in joint ventures in Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam that it does not already own, giving it 100%...
