Air Liquide and Linde Break Up Asian Ventures

Air Liquide and Linde have reached an agreement to end several joint ventures serving markets in China, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia. Linde was required to terminate certain jv’s between Air Liquide and BOC in Asia as one of several conditions imposed by the European Commission (EC) when it approved Linde’s acquisition of BOC last year (CW, June 14, 2006, p. 10).
