VCI forecasts slight rebound in next yearâ€™s output

Production of chemicals, excluding pharmaceuticals, will increase 1% in Germany during 2013 compared with 2012, chemical industry association VCI (Frankfurt) says. Sales generated by Germanyâ€™s chemical industry, excluding pharmaceuticals, will increase 1.5% next year, with selling prices edging up 0.5%, VCI says.
