VCI: Output up in Germany, forecast unchanged

The chemical sector in Germany slowed during the third quarter, industry association VCI (Frankfurt) says. Production in Julyâ€“September remained at the level of the strong second quarter largely because of weak demand for pharmaceuticals but increased 1.5% year-on-year, VCI says. VCI maintains its forecast of 1.5% growth in chemical output in Germany for full-year 2013.
