VCI: Output up in Germany, forecast unchanged

The chemical sector in Germany slowed during the third quarter, industry association VCI (Frankfurt) says. Production in July–September remained at the level of the strong second quarter largely because of weak demand for pharmaceuticals but increased 1.5% year-on-year, VCI says. VCI maintains its forecast of 1.5% growth in chemical output in Germany for full-year 2013.
