The bill would overhaul the U.S. Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) proposed by Senator Frank Lautenberg (D., NJ) 30%/year over its current TSCA enforcement budget. EPA says the agency currently requires, on average, an appropriation of about $105 million annually to implement and enforce TSCA.
