Chemical Week Magazine :: Newsbriefs Syngenta signs sweet sorghum pact with Ceres...7:10 AM MST | November 30, 2012 Ceres (Thousand Oaks, CA) says its Brazilian subsidiary, Ceres Sementes do Brasil, has signed a market development agreement with Syngenta to provide sweet sorghum as a source of fermentable sugars at 400 or more ethanol mills in Brazil, the company says. Under the agreement, Syngenta and Ceres will collaborate on small-scale trials and demonstration-scale field evaluation with several mills. Syngenta will use its agronomy resources and crop protection portfolio with Ceres’ hybrids and seed and research support for the project, and both companies will help...
