Syngenta signs sweet sorghum pact with Ceres...

Ceres (Thousand Oaks, CA) says its Brazilian subsidiary, Ceres Sementes do Brasil, has signed a market development agreement with Syngenta to provide sweet sorghum as a source of fermentable sugars at 400 or more ethanol mills in Brazil, the company says. Under the agreement, Syngenta and Ceres will collaborate on small-scale trials and demonstration-scale field evaluation with several mills.
